
Ms. Neha Mishra

Ms. Neha Mishra works at the intersection of strategic policy, defence diplomacy, and global industry collaboration, bringing together deep expertise in research, government-industry engagement, and international partnerships. She is a Associate Fellow at the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies (CAPSS), where her research focuses on critical mineral supply chains, renewable energy policy, and regional geo-economic dynamics. Her academic work particularly on rare earth elements (REEs) and their role in India’s strategic future—has been widely published and presented on national and international platforms. She also currently serves as Senior Manager for Defence and Security at UK Defence and Security Exports (UKDSE), where she leads initiatives to advance bilateral cooperation, support strategic dialogues, and enable partnerships between UK and Indian defence stakeholders. Previously, Ms. Mishra headed International and Policy Affairs at the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). In this role, she coordinated high-impact industry delegations to eight countries including Kenya, Singapore, Malaysia, France, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco and managed major defence expos, bilateral forums, and stakeholder dialogues to strengthen India’s global defence footprint.
