Ms. Yong Hong Han

Ms. Yong Hong Han is the Associate Editor of Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore. She graduated with a Master's degree in Chinese Studies from the National University of Singapore. She joined Lianhe Zaobao in 2000 as a journalist in the Fukan section, where she reported on arts news and wrote theatre reviews. She also served as a selection committee member for Singapore's National Youth Arts Award. In 2005, Ms. Han was posted to Beijing as an overseas correspondent, reporting on Chinese politics, society and diplomatic news for a period of eight years. During that stint, she received Singapore's "Business China Young Achiever Award" (2011) for her outstanding professional work in China. Ms. Han returned to Singapore in 2012 and subsequently served as Deputy Editor and Editor of Zaobao's China News Desk. In 2016, she also served as Head of Zaobao.com (China).
